When is the best time to post on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or any of the other social media networks you or your business may be using?
I get this question all the time from clients and friends alike. If you’ve ever searched for the answer online, you’ve likely found dozens of studies telling you hundreds of different times and all with the data to back them up. It isn’t very helpful, is it?
The times are changing, as your customers start moving from their desktops to their mobile phones. They are connected to content constantly, so it might as well be yours. This never-ending access to your customers is why I recommend posting when you have something to share that is great. It can be as simple as that. Post as soon as you have something your customers will want to read, share or “like”.
We need to spend more time finding amazing content and less time worrying about posting at the perfect time of day. Yes, you may miss some people in your industry or some people you had hoped would see your content, but stop obsessing and just post it! The “likes”, comments and shares will come when users see that you’re trustworthy and awesome at posting. It’s the internet! Someone will be on there 24/7, so don’t fret. People will see your posts.
